The shores of Erie
International Wine Festival
I entered a contest for 'The Shores of Erie International Wine Festival' in 2013. The brief provided outlined the copy that was needed along with a few elements that they suggest to include such as the shore, music, and wine. Their only other requirements was to keep it different from every other year, yet it needs to have a classic, rich, look and feel.
Given this information, and knowing the designs from the past, I knew I had to stray away from showing splashing wine, which was no problem as the word international was what really stood out to me. Not wine.
This is my final design, showing passport stamps as grapes, with a touch of music in the background. It ended up being exactly what they were looking for and this became the design for the 2013 wine festival.
